Bratton Fleming Community Primary School
Located in the beautiful village of Bratton Fleming, on the edge of Exmoor, North Devon, eight miles north of Barnstaple, the regional capital. The school, which was extended in 1993, is set in large grounds with breathtaking views. There are approximately 130 pupils who are taught in five classes.
It is a welcoming, inclusive and friendly school where children, staff, parents and governors learn and work together to provide a happy and stimulating working environment. In September 2012, we federated with Holywell C of E Primary School, Tawstock. The two schools together are known as The Gateway Federation.
Bratton Fleming Pre-School
Bratton Fleming Pre-School is a purpose-built setting which opened its doors in February 2011. It offers a small, friendly group that has grown and developed since the original Bratton Fleming Playgroup began in 1972. The staff are very proud of the building, which was obtained thanks to extensive community fundraising and the support of Local Council grants. The Pre-School is located next to the village Primary School and there are strong links with the Staff and children there and in the community.
